Dallas is the third largest city in taxes, and is located in the north of the state. Dallas is famous as the home of cowboys. Shopping centers per capita in Dallas are more than any other state. It is the only largest metropolitan area of United States, which lacks navigable links to sea.
Geographically city of Dallas is categorized as downtown, east Dallas, north Dallas, northwest Dallas, south Dallas, west Dallas and uptown. Downtown is the main city and includes both, the developed and historic west end of the city.
On the east side of the city, district of east Dallas is located. Along the south bank of white rock lake, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is a major attraction of the district.
District of north Dallas is located on the northern region of the city. North Dallas is famous for Galleria Mall and North Park Mall. These are one of the largest shopping centers in Texas. Spending time in north Dallas tourist can not resist spending their money in these shopping malls.
In northwest Dallas largest Korean-American community is living, therefore is also kwon as Korean town. However Korean community is present in all the suburbs of north and northwest Dallas. Therefore the place is famous fro Korean cuisine, import stores and karaoke bars.
On the south part of Dallas, areas are famous for its golf courses and state fair. State fair is the country’s largest fair which give rise entertainment activities besides all sort of business activities.
